Enrico Renna
was born in 1952 in Salento, Italy. His father
Furio,
litterateur and political animator, has driven him towards musical
studies so he performed his first public concert when he was six
years old. At the age of nine he was admired for his music talent
from the composer Giuseppe Savagnone and suddenly was enrolled
to the Conservatory of Music San Pietro a Majella in Napoli under
the guidance of Jacopo Napoli. He graduated with a first-class
degree in flute, under the supervision of Ferdinando Stajano.
Then he begun playing piano with Ernesto Galdieri firstly, Giuseppina
Buonomo lately, and studying composition under the guidance of
Aladino Di Martino. At the same time he learnt orchestra conducting
in Napoli with Franco Caracciolo.
